Herb Parmesan Cream Sauce

Ingredients

  1. YIELD: 1 cup
  2. 2 cups heavy cream (or 16 fl oz)
  3. 2 Tbsp fresh basil, chopped (2 tsp dry)
  4. 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  5. Salt to taste
  6. Pepper to taste

Procedures

  1. HEAT cream in a sauce pan and lightly boil until it is half its original volume, being careful not to scorch.
  2. STIR in Parmesan cheese, basil, salt and pepper.
  3. USE immediately.
