I tried to get the frozen consistency of a shake, without the heavy cream and fat content from ice cream. They turned out great, and I've been enjoying them for breakfast!
Mix In Blender
For a single serving:
One banana, peeled and frozen in small sections
A few large spoonfuls of vanilla yogurt
Spoonful of peanut butter
Squirt of chocolate syrup
Milk, enough to just cover the fruit
I usually ease the blender into it by slowly crushing the fruit with a stop-and-go method, making sure the frozen pieces aren't getting stuck in the bottom and jamming the blade. Once the frozen bananas are knocking around nicely, I move to a higher setting until everything is smooth and icy. It is so tasty!
